Operation
The DDT will store up to 4 individual timed events to occur daily. Each event
may be programmed as an absolute time or relative to sunrise or sunset
settings (based on your geographic location), and may have an offset of
plus or minus 128 minutes. Each dimming device may be programmed to
turn on at its own preset light level, ranging between0%and 100%.
The DDT comes in a 120VAC plug-in table top black enclosure with five
buttons on the top of the unit for instant control and programming. A 2-
line LCD Monochrome display shows the day of the week, date, time and
status of the 8 devices. The display is also used for initial configuration and
programming.
The Desktop Daily Timer has a 10 year battery back-up and will
automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time. Multiple DDTs can be
supported in one system if more than 4 events are needed.
Easy to Configure
The DDT is manually programmed so UPStart Setup Software is not
necessary. Simple configurations using the buttons on the top allow the
user to set the following parameters; Time of Day, Latitude/ Longitude,
Network ID, 8 devices to the network, default on light levels, as well as, the
4 timers containing fromone to eight units.
The Desktop Daily Timer is designed to be an integral part of a
complete
PulseWorx Lighting Control System. Like all PulseWorx devices, the DDT
uses the patented UPB™ powerline communication technology (invented
by PCS) to reliably communicate with any other UPB-compatible device(s)
over the home’s existing electrical wires. No new wires are necessary
making PulseWorx perfect for retrofit situations. When initial
configuration is complete, the DDT will automatically activate any group
of lights (or virtually anything else that connects to AC power wiring)
throughout the house simultaneously.
