You all know how much I enjoy sailing. In fact, I'm equally passionate about sailing and supporting good causes.
On April 9th of this year, the Insane Asylum Race Team will be competing in the 2011 Border Run, a 91-mile dash from Newport Beach to San Diego. We will be defending our first place finish title from last year, while helping raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at the same time!

The reason for this email is to solicit your help in raising a small portion of the $1,000,000 goal the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has set for this event in their fight to cure cancer.
Any amount will do! It's tax deductable too!
I want my two dollars...;)
You can join our team and become an associate crewmember by making a donation at http://sdhi.theborderrun.llsevent.org/
Just remember to credit our boat name, Insane Asylum and our skipper, yours truly, Scott Klodowski, on the donation form.
Please feel free to forward this email to all your family and friends. With your efforts, we all can be part of the fundraising team that will rally around the many who have this deadly disease.

If we reach our goal of $1250 in donations, our race entry fee of $250 will be waived. However, to show our support for the cause, we will donate our entry fee as well!
You are all invited to join us at the sendoff party at the Harborside Pavilion in Newport Beach on Friday the 8th and the Trophy party at the Southwestern Yacht Club in San Diego on Sunday the 10th. Click here for all the party details.
