Control Systems to Attend East Coast Expos on May 25th and
26th
Attendees gain insight into the benefits of UPB products
for retrofit and new construction applications

Cal. — May 16, 2011 — Powerline Control
Systems, Inc., the manufacturer
of PulseWorx lighting control for
residential and light commercial and security applications, and inventor
of Universal Powerline Bus® (UPB) technology, will attend the MRI Expo in Surbridge, Mass. on May
25th, and the Northeast Security Systems Contractors Expo in
Marlborough, Mass. on May 26th. Powerline Control
Systems will demonstrate the benefits of and give tips
on how to sell its PulseWorx lighting system, a highly
versatile and reliable lighting control solution that utilizes
existing powerlines, making it great for retrofit and new
construction applications.
“Dealers will be able to see first-hand the versatility of our extensive
and reliable lighting control solutions,” said Scott Klodowski,
director of sales and marketing for PCS. “Aside from giving
tips on how to market and sell our solutions, dealers can
offer suggestions on how we can help them more effectively.”
At each event, dealers will be introduced to
and have a chance to discuss the company’s complete assortment
of lighting control products and accessories. Included among
those product includes Mi Lightstyle; an independent, cost-effective
hardware/software package that allows system control by the
most popular Internet-connected smart-phones, tablets and
computers. Mi LightStyle
enables an end user to easily monitor, control and manage UPB-driven PulseWorx and third party products
from any device that can connect to the Internet including
CCTV, HVAC, lighting, a home theater, and much more. The
installing integrator can create advanced times, triggers,
email or text notifications and events based on status of
the devices, time of day, even local weather conditions delivering
an interface that has remarkable breadth while being easy
to operate.
Attendees will also learn about other PCS products,
including its SIK-4 Security Interface Solution Package and
its 4- and 6-Zone Retrofit Light Solutions.
The PCS Security Interface Solution provides
professional integrators with a lighting control solution
that easily ties into virtually any security system. The
Security Interface package, which includes a UPB Bridge,
four 6-button 600W Wall Switches and a 4-prong Passive Phase
Coupler, enables a security or home automation panel transmitting
X-10 to communicate directly to PCS’ UPB-driven devices.
PCS’ RLK-4 Retrofit Light Package, including
one Keypad and three Wall Switches, come pre-programmed with
seven basic scenes to have a fully-functional system up and
running in just a short time. The easy-to-install lighting
packages are designed to work with the existing electrical
framework of a home or building, eliminating professional
integrators’ need to run new wires. Once installed, the lighting
system can be modified to the unique demands of the end-user
via PCS’ simplified UPStart configuration software.
Industry veteran and National Sales Manager for PCS, Wayne Ortner will
also be giving a 90-minute presentation/class
at the MRI event.
The MRI Expo, the ninth annual expo put on by the distributor, will have
over 50 vendors in attendance. The Northeast Security Systems
Contractors Expo, which provides a venue for security professionals
to trade ideas and discover new technology, states the show
