Mi LightStyle
(MLS) & Powerline Interface Powerpack (PIP)
Mi
LightStyle is the most flexible and affordable standalone home
automation controller solution for PulseWorx or any UPB technology
based system. Integrating iPhone, iPad, Android, etc. control
has become a necessity and whether you are a home automation,
audio video or security integrator, even electricians, will
enjoy how quickly and easily PulseWorx devices can be configured
through Mi LightStyle.
Radio Frequency Interface (RFI-E)
The RFI-E is the crossing point which receives the EnOcean
RF signals and translates them into UPB powerline technology.
Up to eight PulseWorx RF devices can be programmed in each
RFI-E.
The RFI-E, Radio Frequency Interface is a plug-in interface
that receives a discreet RF code from any EnOcean enabled device.
Each RF code is translated into a UPB signal which is transmitted
on the existing powerline. This allows control from any location
with any optional EnOcean RF switch, Hand-held Key Fob remote
or Occupancy Sensor
The RFI-E can accept Enocean commands from 8 independent devices.
Each signal can be programmed to transmit any UPB command.
The button Mode may be customized with separate actions for
single tap, double tap, press and hold, release.
Network Device Server - NDS-1111-PW
The
Network Device Server enables you to use UPStart
with a PIM-R, over the internet, without a dedicated on-site
computer. You do not need to be an IT expert, know how to forward
a port, or open up a firewall!
The Network Device Server allows for the remote
management, control and access to a customer's PulseWorx system
via UPStart—— eliminating
the need to be
on the jobsite.
Powerline Interface
Powerpack (PIP-TS) and Powerline
Interface Module (PIM-A)
The Powerline Interface Powerpack (PIP-TS) is an addressable powerline interface module and a power supply all in one unit. It is designed to provide both the 12VDC power and the UPB™ communication capabilities for the TouchScreen Timer (TSTD or TSTW) to control lights, appliances, and set heating/air conditioning systems remotely over the existing powerline.
For those developers who do not need a power
supply, there is the addressable Powerline Interface Module
(PIM-A) which performs the same function as the PIP-TS but
wthout the power supply.
Powerline
Interface - ELK M1 (PIM-E )
PulseWorx
Lighting Integration to ELK M1 Systems is now effortless! Discover
how easy your ELK M1 can integrate to lighting control!
The PIM-E is a special Powerline Interface Module
containing an ELK Products built-in M1XSP Serial Port chip.
This all-in-one device makes it effortless to enable the ELK
M1 to communicate with a UPB network, via the M1 data bus without
a lot of complex ugly cabling Just connect a cable from the
M1 data bus to the four (4) terminals on the PIM-E and perform
an M1 data bus enrollment and you are good to go.
Powerline Interface Module (PIM-R, PIM-U)
The PIM Powerline Interface Module is a small plug-in device designed to be the interface between an RS232 or USB port on a computer (or dedicated controller) and the powerline.
The PIM plugs into any standard 120VAC electrical outlet. The PIM-R is an RS-232 serial interface that connects to any available COM port via a DB9 serial cable (included). The PIM-U is a USB serial interface that connects to any available USB port. Software drivers allow the PIM-U to emulate a serial PIM by taking over an available COM port.
The PIM is the device of choice for interfacing PCS's UPStart Setup Software to the powerline.
The PIM comes in a white enclosure. A multi-color LED is provided on the front of the module and acts as a powerline signal indicator as well as indicating modes of operation.
Input Control
Module (ICM)
The
ICM Input Control Module is a high quality plug-in home automation
controller device designed to interface off-the-shelf low
voltage or contact closure sensor devices to the PulseWorx
Lighting Control System.
The Input Control
Module provides two independent channels of general purpose
isolated contact closure sensing inputs to activate single
lights, trigger dramatic scenes, or send messages to a central
controller.
Simply plug
the ICM into any standard wall outlet and wire the device
to the sensor.
X-10 to UPB Bridge (PW513)
The PW513 X-10 to UPB Bridge is a small plug-in electronic device that converts standard X-10 formatted messages into corresponding UPB Communication Packets which is capable of transmitting and receiving digital commands and status over the existing powerlines and control UPB devices.
The PW513 is the ideal solution for interfacing alarm panels and other devices (that interface to an X-10 network via a PL-513 interface) to the high reliability of the PulseWorxTM Lighting Control System. Simply substitute the PW513 for the PL-513 and you have instantly switched to the high reliability of UPB.
The PW513 receives X-10 messages through a standard 4-wire X-10 (PL-513/TW-523) interface output.
X-10 to UPB Converter (XPW713)
The XPW713 X-10 to UPB Converter is a small plug-in electronic device that converts standard X-10 formatted messages sent on the AC powerline into corresponding UPB Communication Packets to control your PulseWorxTM UPB devices.
The XPW713 is the ideal solution for interfacing X-10 compatible transmitting devices and sensors to the high reliability of the UPB PulseWorxTM Lighting Control System.
The XPW713 receives X-10 messages on the existing AC powerline.
Example Operation: When an X-10 A1 ON command is sent on the powerline the XPW713 will convert this signal and transmit Link 1 Activate onto the powerline.
Doorbell Ring Interface Module (DBM)
The DBM Doorbell Ring Interface Module is a small plug-in device designed to sense the current of a doorbell ring to trigger the transmission of digital commands onto the existing powerlines.
The DBM can be programmed to send any UPB link command to turn on or off (or blink) any light or group of lights upon the ringing of a doorbell. Great for the hearing impaired!
The DBM plugs into any standard receptacle. An easy-to-wire four terminal connector enables terminating two doorbell circuits from as far away as 1000 feet.
Telephone Ring Interface Module (TCM)
The TCM Telephone Ring Interface Module is a small plug-in device designed to sense a telephone ring to trigger the transmission of digital commands onto the existing powerlines.
The TCM can be programmed to send any UPB link command to turn on or off (or blink) any light or group of lights upon the ringing of a telephone. Great for the hearing impaired!
The TCM plugs into any standard AC power receptacle. The TCM includes two standard phone jacks for connecting as many as two different phone lines.
