Marshall Lester | CEO, and Chief Technical Officer
The inventor of the Universal Powerline Bus (UPB) communication method. UPB has been issued three US patents, a multitude of awards and is now licensed to seven other companies. Prior to the invention and deployment of the UPB technology and Pulseworx product line he led the development of the SceneMaster product line, which included the first true rocker high-tech powerline carrier Wall Switch with internal scenes. The SceneMaster product line led the way to the “Smart Switch” products developed by a host of other manufacturers over the past fifteen years. Mr. Lester received two degrees in Engineering and one in Psychology from California State University Northridge after serving as a helicopter crew chief in the US ARMY in Vietnam and Texas.

Preston Lane | Senior Applications Engineer
MSEE(2007), BSEE (2000), Tau Beta Pi, IEEE, Corporate Officer, Senior Hardware Design and Test Engineer at Powerline Control Systems, a manufacturer of cutting edge PLC lighting controls. I have been involved in the design, development, and testing of the Universal Powerline Bus, or UPB, power-line communications technology since its inception. Inventor of IPC, or Industrial Powerline Bus technology. My hobbies include riding my Harley Davidson Softail Deuce and playing with our Vizslas. One’s an AKC champion. |

Ron Fienberg | Senior Software Engineer
Ron has been with PCS in one aspect or another since 1986. A veteran of the aerospace and medical software industry, Ron has been responsible for the UPB Core firmware that is in all UPB products worldwide. Ron has also written most of the firmware found in the PulseWorx product line as well as most of its documentation. Ron continues to be a key contributor to the design and development of PCS products - UPB, PulseWorx, UPStart, IPC, ZoneWorx, and ZoneCommander. |

Scott Klodowski | Director of Sales and Marketing
Scott has over 25 years experience in sales, marketing, product development and technical training at the manufacturer and distributor level in the residential integration and lighting control marketplace. He has gained a unique expertise in the needs and challenges of integrators and installers, knowing how to increase their profitability and knowledge of what it takes to be successful using any type of lighting control system. Among his current responsibilities, Scott is heading up and developing programs, training seminars; promotional and marketing materials to further help integrators and distributors become known as the premier sources for PulseWorx and UPB powered systems.

Lonna Balderas | Office Manager
Lonna can be found crunching numbers, chasing down shipping trucks, calling accounts, answering phones (while laughing), shuffling paperwork, writing new policies or just plain harassing the staff here at PCS. If you have a problem she can generally formulate a solution! She is our Accounting Department and Human Resources rolled into one when she is not taking on assisting the CEO or managing the corporate offices.
Lonna has been a part of the PCS family for 13 years and has been working for us for over two years having stepped in to fulfill the legacy of her late mom, Pamela Dutton, our Accounting Manager of 11 years.
